Notes
From photos. Dial reads 'W.J. CORNISH & SON / OKEHAMPTON / 17 JEWELS / INCABLOC / SWISS MADE'. W.J. Cornish & Son is a retailer name (Okehampton, Devon), so the real watch maker is unconfirmed. Caseback reads '...SS STEEL BACK / INCABLOC / ANTIMAGNETIC' with slots around the rim, and the case has a thread. Movement has a dark plate with ruby jewels, no rotor (manual-wind) and small seconds; plate stampings not readable from the photo and no calibre number seen. Crystal has a scratch near 12. The gold-coloured plating looks worn at the edges.
Movement identified from the Unitas U cartouche, UT stamp and calibre number 6325 on the plate; 17 JEWEL marked on the bridge. Manual wind. Other specs (diameter, beat rate) not yet confirmed. Balance spring is bent and the outer coil has slipped through the second curb pin and loops out past the balance rim. Balance cock screw is missing. Not running. Low value as a parts movement; best used for hairspring or strip-and-rebuild practice, and as a donor if another 6325 turns up in the lot.
